Journeyman Millwright Kenora Timberstrand Plant | Kenora, Ontario | Permanent Full-Time $50.20/hour starting wage | Hiring bonus | Relocation assistance available Weyerhaeuser's Kenora Timberstrand Plant is seeking a permanent full-time Journeyman Millwright to join our 24/7 manufacturing operation for an immediate opening! The plant manufactures TimberStrand engineered wood products in a manufacturing environment. This opportunity is well suited to a certified mechanical tradesperson who enjoys troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, mechanical repair, hydraulic systems, and supporting reliable manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, the Millwright will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems in support of safe and reliable plant operations. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of hydraulic systems and components.

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment issues.
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Use SAP for materials management and work order management.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication.
• Coordinate contractor activities as required.
• Mechanical Trades Qualification in an applicable discipline.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule that includes both days and nights.

Three to five years of experience in an industrial environment. • Experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, welding, fabrication, and SAP work order processes.
