Nanny & Family Assist

We are a warm, busy family of five relocating to the Collingwood area and are looking for an experienced, proactive Nanny to become an important part of our home. We have three young children (ages 4, 2 and 1) and two working parents. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys children, takes initiative, and loves creating an organized, calm household. The 4 year old will be in school full-time. About the Role This position combines childcare with light household management. We are looking for someone who is dependable, kind, energetic and able to anticipate what needs to be done without constant direction. Childcare Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaging care for young children
• Plan age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Support naps, routines and transitions
• School/daycare drop-offs and pickups as needed
• Help with homework and learning activities as the children grow
• Occasional evening babysitting by mutual agreement

Household Responsibilities

• Children’s laundry
• Family laundry
• Meal preparation and simple family dinners very periodically
• Kitchen clean-up and dishwasher
• Tidying children’s bedrooms, play areas and common spaces
• Organizing toys, clothing and seasonal items
• Grocery shopping and household errands very periodically
• Light housekeeping (vacuuming, wiping counters, making beds, etc.)
• Helping prepare for guests or family gatherings seldom

Please note this is not a heavy cleaning position. We value maintaining an organized home rather than deep cleaning. The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience caring for infants and young children
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Warm, calm and patient
• Comfortable around dogs (we have one friendly dog)
• Able to work independently and take initiative
