We are seeking an experienced, nurturing, and organized full-time nanny to join our warm and respectful family in Point Grey, Vancouver. This is a fixed-term position from September 2026 through April 2027, offering the opportunity to support our growing family as we welcome our second child in January 2027. POSITION DETAILS

Employment Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (September 2026 – April 2027) Location: Point Grey, Vancouver, BC Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evenings may be required with advance notice. Compensation: $30–$40 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Vacation Pay: 4% of gross wages, paid with each paycheque. Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package. Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel may be required. Eligibility: Applicants must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work permits or visas.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY

We are a family consisting of a professional father, a stay-at-home mother, a 14-month-old child, and a second baby expected in January 2027. We live in a spacious home in Point Grey. Additional house staff include a Personal Assistant and a weekly professional housekeeping service. This position combines childcare with helping maintain an organized, well-run home. Our family values healthy living and follows a clean-eating lifestyle. Our child has dairy and egg allergies, so experience preparing allergy-safe meals and following care plans is important.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive, loving care for our toddler and, following the birth in January 2027, assist with newborn care.
• Plan and participate in engaging, age-appropriate educational and developmental activities.
• Manage daily routines including feeding, naps, hygiene, and play.
• Prepare bottles, baby food, and nutritious meals and snacks for the children while following dietary restrictions.
• Support children with eczema and food allergies by following skincare routines, avoiding allergens, and adhering to prescribed care plans.
• Complete children's laundry and assist with household laundry as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and tidying between visits from the professional cleaning service.
• Help organize children's spaces and maintain household organization.
• Run occasional errands, including grocery shopping and package returns.
• Work collaboratively with the parents and Personal Assistant to maintain a welcoming and organized home.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who is warm, nurturing, playful, engaging, organized, adaptable, dependable, proactive, and professional. The successful candidate enjoys working with infants and toddlers, is confident caring for children with allergies, and is happy supporting the smooth operation of a busy family home.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant experience caring for children under five, including newborns, infants, and toddlers.
• Standard First Aid Certification.
• Infant and Child CPR Certification.
• Experience caring for children with eczema and food allergies, including following skincare routines, avoiding allergens, and adhering to care plans.
• Swimming ability and water safety awareness.
• Experience preparing healthy children's meals.
• Non-smoker.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence.
• Clean Driver's Abstract.
• Knowledge of proper car seat installation and safety.
• Valid passport.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) training.
• Access to a safe and reliable vehicle.
• Food Safety Certification.
• Comfortable around dogs, as the children's grandmother occasionally visits with her Labrador.
• Spanish-speaking is considered an asset.
