IT Systems Analyst - saint-bonaventure

Role
The role of IT Systems Analyst reports to the Manager of Store Technology and focuses on Pharmacy Retail Systems and IT infrastructure. The analyst develops, documents, and deploys new solutions to improve pharmacy retail operations.
Principal Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, design, and develop innovative IT solutions for pharmacy retail systems.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all IT solutions, including system architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Oversee smooth transition of new IT solutions into production, including testing and user training.
- Monitor and manage the technology infrastructure supporting pharmacy retail, focusing on performance and security.
- Analyze data to find ways to improve pharmacy operations.
- Work with vendors to select and implement software and hardware solutions.
- Research solutions to investigate complex system issues.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.
- Assess new technologies that can be leveraged across the Enterprise Retail environment and develop benefits case for adopting them.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- College or University degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline.
- 5+ years of IT Systems Analyst experience focused on pharmacy retail systems and infrastructure.
- Experience automating tasks using Power Automate, PowerShell and other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of System Center Operations Manager, System Center Configuration Manager and Adaptiva peer‑to‑peer automation technology.
- Familiarity with hardware components, network architecture, and cloud computing.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD and cloud technologies.
- Experience with current operating systems: Windows Server, Windows Desktop, iOS and Android.
- Excellent knowledge of OS creation and deployment.
- Result‑oriented with a can‑do attitude, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Ability to provide strategic recommendations for future business and solution opportunities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to provide after‑hours support during implementation of new solutions.
- Strong research skills and awareness of data privacy practices.
Context & Environment
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure and complex technical environment that requires attention to detail. Must complete assigned tasks on time, efficiently, and manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently.
