Job Overview TriSon Farms International is a new, dynamic and rapidly growing business that was born out of a family tradition of quality, integrity, innovation and a love of food. We provide our customers with the best, premium quality produce year-round.
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Foodservice Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking customer orders and transporting fresh produce safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Call to take customer orders daily
- Work with procurement team for volumes on a weekly basis
- Cold calling new leads daily
- Visit new leads and drop off price sheets
- Manage sales funnel on CRM platform
- Develop and nurture current customer relationships
- Help order pickers load vehicle for daily orders
- Work with Logistics Coordinator to put delivery plan and routes together
- Set up meetings with leads to solidify deals with Sales Team member
- Safely operate a van to transport fresh produce to designated locations within Windsor/Essex.
- Communicate effectively with customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Assist in loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting when required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with clients.
Qualifications
- Valid G driving license
- Experience in food service and restaurant industry is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and other physical tasks associated with moving goods.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- A commitment to safety protocols while driving and handling the produce.
