We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the Finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. This role focuses on accounts payable processing, accounts receivable support, fixed asset accounting processes, and monthly reconciliations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with hightransaction volumes, and able to support recurring financial tasks while assisting the broader finance team as needed.

What You'll Do Here:

• Assist with posting daily bank receipts and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
• Provide accounts receivable support, including assisting with transaction reviews and resolving posting discrepancies.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding and documentation.
• Create and maintain vendor records in the accounting and payment systems.
• Monitor the AP inbox, and respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely manner.
• Prepare weekly pay runs, ensuring supporting documentation is complete and payment details are accurate.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for accounts such as fixed assets, intangible assets, prepaid expense etc.
• Prepare reconciliations for designated bank accounts to ensure alignment between bank statements and internal financial records.
• Support efficient credit card processing by reviewing documentation, verifying transactions, and posting entries accurately to maintain financial integrity.
• Assist the Finance team with additional ad-hoc accounting and operational tasks as required.

• Bachelor’s degree (or diploma) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Internship or co-op accounting experience is considered an asset but is not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/accounting software is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This role has an annual salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 . 

This range reflects the full scope and progression of the role, from building capability to operating with sustained impact at a higher level. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package designed to support our team as they grow with us.

Where an offer falls within this range is determined through the interview process. Candidates are benchmarked by the hiring team based on role scope, relevant experience, skill alignment, and expected impact, using consistent and objective criteria.
