The challenges that await you

Under the supervision of the division head – payroll, internal control, and group insurance, you will be responsible for monitoring accounts receivable related to workplace accident files (SAAQ and IVAQ). Additionally, you will perform certain payroll-related tasks for employees who are on disability.

• Ensure follow-up on income replacement benefit collections following a workplace accident;
• Perform reconciliation and analysis of CNESST, SAAQ, and IVAQ files, identifying and addressing discrepancies;
• Ensure billing and recovery from employees and CNESST of amounts receivable;
• Calculate waiting periods for employees on long-term disability;
• Perform complex payroll calculations related to the remuneration of employees under CNESST, SAAQ, and IVAQ:
• Transfer payroll files from CNESST to illness and from illness to CNESST;
• Calculate amounts to recover or pay to employees from SAAQ and IVAQ files;
• Close CNESST files.

The ideal profile for us

• Hold a DEC in accounting or relevant training;
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
• Ability to work with complex computer systems;
• Ability to work in a team with various internal and external stakeholders.
