EY-Parthenon seeks a Manager in our Strategy & Execution practice to lead client engagement teams focused on IT due diligence and transaction services within both pre‑deal and post‑deal engagements. The role involves executing integration planning, carve‑out execution, synergy realization, and development of transitional services agreements and M&A playbooks, while ensuring high client satisfaction and supporting business development activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagement teams executing IT due diligence and transaction services to support key decision makers.
- Perform integration planning and execution (Integration Management Office).
- Manage carve‑out or divestiture planning and execution (Carve‑out Management Office).
- Identify, validate, and realize synergies.
- Develop transitional services agreements and M&A/integration playbooks.
- Demonstrate strong project management, problem‑solving, and facilitation skills.
- Identify key IT risks related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas.
- Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Assist in business development through presentation preparation and pursuit meetings.
- Lead internal practice initiatives to improve the IT M&A practice and foster an inclusive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years supporting projects involving IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, cost and value, operating models, and technology process optimization across diverse industries.
- Proven record of excellence in merger integration, acquisitions, divestitures, and carve‑outs.
- Track record as a trusted IT advisor to large organizations (e.g., Fortune 500).
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience working in complex business environments.
- Strong prioritization skills and adaptability to new challenges.
- Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
- Ability to develop deep collaborative relationships across practice areas in a professional services environment.
- Bilingualism in French and English (required).
- Ability to travel to the U.S. on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions and divestiture activities.
- Experience supporting integrations, carve‑outs, and other transaction engagements.
- Functional experience in Human Resource Management and/or Change Management.
- Relevant degrees or certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, PMP).
