Contract Telecom Sales Engineer

As the Sales Engineer, you are the customer-facing subject matter expert for Execulink's, voice, data, and hosted service offerings to the business community we serve. You build and maintain relationships with other service provider partners and vendors to provide a wide portfolio of tools to create solutions for customers. The Sales Engineer has the unique ability to comprehend and address corporate market requirements across a wide spectrum of roles, spanning varying levels of technical understanding. The Sales Engineer serves as a technical liaison for multiple departments from pre-sales to post-sales, and develops powerful sales enablement collateral for our Business Sales Agents. Position Details:

• 12 Month Contract
• Office located in Woodstock, Ontario, with a Hybrid Work Model - mix of work from home, in office and client site visits required
• Hours of work typically Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, with some required work outside of business hours

Primary Responsibilities:

• Technical resource for our Outside Business Solutions Sales Team accompanying them to the customer locations as required
• Technical resource for our Inside Business Solutions Sales Team assisting them with building quotes
• Converse with customers at the appropriate technical level in order to evaluate their requirements
• Supporting Business Sales Team with professional, technical presentations
• Design solution offerings resulting in successful implementations by creating Network Diagrams (NWD) and Scopes of Work (SoW)
• Develop solutions resulting in clean implementations
• Identify gaps in our portfolio offerings through the emerging requirements of our customers
• Interact with various members of the customer team ranging from Level 3 Management Team to IT Staff
• Coordinating technical projects and working across multiple departments and key stakeholders
• Support the outside business solutions sales representatives with professional technical presentations
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs related to the Business Sales Team
• Strong utilization and interaction with internal departments and stakeholders is important.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Education and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Passion for technology and possess an inquisitive mindset to continually expand your technical knowledge
• Required valid G class driver's license and access to reliable transportation
• Pass a 3 year drivers abstract
• Pass a criminal background check
• Self-motivated, driven, team player
• Exceptional ability to write technical content, with varying
• technical understanding
• Strong personal and interpersonal skills along with a professional demeanor interacting with internal and external customers
