Senior Security Engineer for Cloud Systems

Shape the future of restaurant technology at 7shifts as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer. Focus on security automation and risk management in our dynamic work setting. In this critical role, you will lead efforts to enhance the security framework for 7shifts. You'll work alongside various engineering squads to embed security into the development lifecycle, automating compliance processes, and managing vulnerabilities effectively. Your drive and creativity will shape how we handle security challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Build Security-as-Code in GCP to enhance compliance
- Collaborate with developers on security features
- Optimize Datadog SIEM for alert management
- Develop masking and synthetic data tools for developers
- Implement end-to-end vulnerability management
- 5+ years in security operations within SaaS
- Strong knowledge of GCP and Kubernetes security
- Proven track record on SOC 2 audit projects
- Experience using AI tools in security contexts
- Exceptional communication ability to explain complex concepts
