Financial Reporting Manager

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for reviewing key areas of the quarterly reporting cycle, including note disclosures, consolidated cash flow reporting, intangible assets, purchase price allocations, and acquisition accounting. The role serves as a key review and first escalation point for these areas, ensuring accuracy, IFRS compliance, and the timely delivery of quarterly reporting requirements. The ideal candidate is a polished and collaborative professional with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy. Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the review of assigned quarterly financial reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and IFRS-compliant results
• Assessing financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to confirm accuracy and completeness
• Partnering with finance teams across the organization to collect, review, and resolve information needed for reporting
• Contributing to the consolidation of financial results and ensuring reporting timelines are achieved
• Serving as a key point of review, raising potential issues, risks, and complex accounting matters as they arise
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors and addressing questions and requests efficiently
• Evaluating financial reporting controls and helping maintain effective and consistent processes
• Providing accounting support and guidance while helping develop the skills of junior team members

Qualifications

The main qualifications for this role include:

• CPA designation complete, as well as a formal accounting education
• 5+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance environment
• Experience with IFRS
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Excel skills

Assets (nice to have)

• Public accounting firm or SaaS experience
• Mergers & Acquisitions experience
