Remote ITH Driller

About the Role:

Currently, we are seeking qualified and motivated ITH Drillers to join our growing team in Matachewan, ON . There are multiple open positions that we are actively looking to fill. The key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Set up and operate underground ITH drills (manual and remote) following provided prints.
• 
  

  Perform pre-operational inspections, scaling, and undercut inspections with BT barricade sign-off each shift.

• 
  

  Maintain accurate records, including 5-point safety cards, drill reports, and inventory logs.

• 
  

  Insert/pull rods, change bits and consumables, and cut/install PVC casing as required.

• 
  

  Perform slot hole reaming and clean holes using air, water, or drill equipment.

• 
  

  Conduct drill takedowns and moves

Qualifications

• Must have Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core Certification (U0000 to U0012) or equivalent provincial designation
• MTCU Specialty Module - U0070 Operate In-the-Hole Drill is required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an ITH driller is required
  
• Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• Must be open to working at any of the underground mine sites that Technica operates at

Schedule

• 7 on 7 off
• 12 hour shifts
