Agriculture Finance Specialist

If this sounds like you , AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. has an opportunity for a motivated Agriculture Finance Specialist to join our team working with our farmer owners . As the Agriculture Finance Specialist provide expertise, administration and support in managing and growing the FS Agri-Finance Program. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders, including members, investors, and internal teams, to ensure that our financial offerings meet the needs of our community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural finance, credit management, and investment. AGRIS and our teams work to demonstrate there is always a solution and to work to enhance our farm owner success and sustainability.

What will you be responsible for:

• Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction.
• Under leadership guidance, responsible for growing, maintaining and administering the FS Finance consumer credit programs and AR portfolio.
• Travels throughout the AGRIS territory with branch team members to lead, promote and grow the FS Agri-Finance portfolio. Assists in development of Agri-Finance marketing plans and programs specific to assigned territory.
• Provides leadership and training on Agri-Finance marketing programs to company salespeople and assists in using finance to target customers to promote and sell products and services.
• Work closely with the sales team and providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination around financing options.
• Responsible for interviewing applicants and requesting specified information for loan applications. Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, banking status and other information to determine feasibility of granting loan and corresponds with applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding information.
• Compiles loan package and communicates loan structure with applicant, including fees, loan repayment options and other credit terms. Submits loan package within specified limits and refers to committee for approval.
• Support and administer AGRIS investor and owner program.
• Responds to customer information requests or inquiries involving agricultural operating lines of credit.
• Reviews delinquent accounts and contacts customers for collection of past due balances and reports to management repayment ability.
• Recommends or refers accounts to management for legal actions against debtors.
• Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts.

Requirements for this Job:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Agriculture Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• , or investment management.
• Knowledge of agricultural industry dynamics and financial products tailored to the agriculture sector.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to assess credit risk and investment opportunities.
• Travel as required to support farm owner and branch needs.

Pay: $51,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
