The Position: In support of the Vision, Mission and Values of LutherCare Communities, we are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our Group Home team. Applicants will be responsible for the personal care and safety of clients and for the implementation of individual lifestyle plans. The Applicant: Applicants would typically qualify for this position through the completion of a grade 12 education with previous experience working with adults with cognitive and physical disabilities in a residential setting. A Disability Support Worker (Rehabilitation Worker) course, Special Care Aide course or equivalent education is preferred, Food Safe Certificate is a requirement, Sign language is desirable. The incumbent must complete Basic Skills Training as provided by LCC. Applicants must be available to work shifts that include days, evenings & weekends. Applicants must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to interpret, read, write and speak English fluently. For the full posting details please visit the link above.
