What you’ll do

  • Finishing Process: Buff rubber liners after curing to meet final specifications according to technical drawings, ensuring quality and precision in the finishing stage.
  • Inspection: Identify and inspect any defects in the rubber liners to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Use large grinders and other manual tools safely and effectively while wearing coveralls and air supply helmets throughout the shift.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a small team of 2-3 buffers within a team of 5, supporting each other to meet production goals.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves

  • Manual labor experience and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality finishing and defect detection.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and wearing required protective equipment consistently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or finishing role.
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) in an industrial setting.

Compensation - $33.51/hr
