To support that challenge, the Marketing Team is currently seeking a Marketing Operations Lead . In this role you will support the strategic planning and execution of select marketing communication campaigns and tactics and be a trusted advisor to those within Marketing as it relates to tactical effectiveness and integrated marketing communication plans.

We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Calgary, AB, Guelph, ON, and we are open to remote work arrangements across Canada.

Duties:

• Drive the development and integration of select marketing communication campaigns and tactics.
• Be a trusted advisor to those within the Marketing team by building trusting, reliable, and collaborative relationships.
• Actively participate in the annual campaign planning process by providing strategic direction and insight.
• Develop and/or provide guidance on the development of project briefs for tactical touchpoints in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure tactic outputs align to our campaign goals.
• Set the strategic direction for all traditional media-based activity.
• Work with external vendors for projects that include promotional items, printing, shipping etc.
• Work with members of the Digital Marketing team to ensure offline and online tactics are properly integrated.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business or Communications or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of marketing communications and project management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of marketing campaign planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of marketing communications strategy and implementation.
• Ability to influence others, and manage conflict.
• Ability to manage several projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Expertise using Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of Trello or another project management software, Mural and/or Smartsheet an asset.
• Experience in the agriculture industry considered an asset.
