Our Company Requires An *Automotive Service Technician* With Your Abilities As A Confident Mechanic And A Strong Work Ethic. You Must Be A Journeyman Red Seal Or Well On Your Way To Becoming A Journeyman. You Will Be Expected To Work With Minimal Supervision And Perform Very Well.

*Essential Skills/Duties:*

* *Perform Preventative Maintenance, Diagnose Faulty Operations And Repair Automotive Vehicles, Including Cars, SUVs*, Light And Medium-Duty *Trucks.*
* Adjust, Test And Repair Engines, Steering Systems, Braking Systems, Drive Trains, Vehicle Suspensions, Electrical Systems And Air-Conditioning Systems.
* Perform Scheduled Maintenance Services Such As Oil Changes, Lubrications And Tune-Ups, And
* Maintain And Operate Repair Shop Equipment And Other Repair Tools.
* Participate In Training To Keep Product Knowledge Current.
* Interact With Customers And Fellow Employees Professionally And Courteously.
* Perform All Required Tasks Efficiently While Maintaining Quality And A Safe Working Environment.
* Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

*Education:*

*Red Seal In Automotive Service Technician* Is Preferred – 2nd,3rd And 4th Year Apprentices Will Be Considered.

Candidates Must Be Registered With The Alberta Apprenticeship And Industry Training Program.

Have Or Be Able To Obtain A Valid CVIP Ticket.

Experience

3-5 Years Relevant Experience Of Diagnostics And Repairs On Automotive Vehicles Up To And Including 3-5 Ton Trucks
