Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and secure new customers consistent with the company’s ideal customer profile through cold calling, targeted outreach and strategic prospecting.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and manage opportunities from initial contact to close.
• Develop long-term, consultative relationships with customers and collaborate with the Solutions Team to design and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, prepare proposals and close deals while accurately documenting activity in the CRM.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports and performance analysis to leadership and act on data-driven insights to improve results.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, solutions and support teams to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Participate in professional development, team events and company initiatives that support growth and culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales with measurable success; able to discuss quantitative and qualitative metrics.
• Prior cold calling and outbound prospecting experience; self-starter with strong initiative and resilience.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills; ability to build rapport and understand customer needs.
• Collaborative mindset, problem-solving orientation and curiosity for new industries and customer challenges.
• Comfortable using CRM systems; Salesforce experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Burlington, Ontario; valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites preferred.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
