Job Responsibility:
Denham Ford Sales Ltd is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to work on our Denham Ford Sales Ltd Dealerships.
Our Customer Service Team will be the first impression of your time with us. We are passionate about our team and their success.
- Our technicians are expected to be proficient in their field and able to maintain a high level of automotive repair work.
- We want you to be a part of a team that is growing daily! We are looking for individuals that want to grow with us!
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, etc.)as well as electrical ones (dashboard, air conditioning, etc.)
- Perform routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.)aimed at vehicle engine, transmission or electrical components
- Provide repair or service advice when needed
- Follow all legal procedures for dealing with traffic and make sure you are not violating any rules and regulations
- Keep the work area clean and well organized
- Communicate with the Service Manager and Technical Manager to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all company policies and procedures and help maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Maintain personal health and fitness by getting exercise, stretching, and maintaining flexibility.
Skills
- Proven experience as automotive technician or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of vehicles to be repaired or serviced.
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to handle various tools and equipment (e.g. calipers) and use proper safety precautions
- Good physical condition and strength with no reported injuries in the last year.
