Business Continuity Planning Manager at Manulife

Manulife

Drive transformational business continuity planning with Manulife's Group Functions Technology team in a hybrid role. Help strengthen operational resilience and ensure critical services remain uninterrupted during disruptions. In this managerial position, you will work closely with the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery teams to enhance operational resilience and continuity planning. Collaborating with stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and governance areas will be essential to implement effective practices and support testing. This role significantly impacts enterprise-wide resilience and preparedness. Key Responsibilities:

Lead operational resilience initiatives across targeted business areas
Promote continuous improvement of resilience capabilities and practices
Collaborate with teams to enhance critical operations readiness
Facilitate reviews of resilience controls and practices
Oversee business continuity and operational resilience testing exercises

Requirements:

4+ years in business continuity or operational resilience
Solid grasp of industry principles and methodologies
Proven experience developing Business Continuity Plans
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
