Job Responsibility:
Job Summary:We are looking for a hard working, detail oriented, self starter that ideally has some post-secondary education and has an Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) licence. If the candidate does not have an EMD, then we would ask the candidate to obtain a licence within a reasonable amount of time after being hired. The company will allow some time out of the workday to study for the EMD. This position will assist in Investments and Mortgages and is one position.
Duties:Investments:
- Either have an Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) license or obtain an EMD in a reasonable amount of time
- Become a Dealer Representative
- Discuss the company's investment with existing investors or prospective investors
- Thoroughly go through all the forms with the investors including the Know Your Client and Risk Acknowledgement
- Completing the client suitability
- Provide investment statements for investors
- Vetting loan applications and completing any searches required
- Following-up with clients on arrears
- Assist with foreclosures
- Following-up on conditions precedent to drawdown on mortgages
- Assist with Margining
- Complete letters for maturities/renewals
- Assist with reporting
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Skills:- EMD License or willing to obtain
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Word and Excel
- Post-secondary education
- Detail oriented
- Intermediate Computer knowledge
- Preferred fluency in English and Punjabi
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
