Regional Vice-President, Commercial Banking

Your Role

• Mobilize a team of experienced professionals around clear and ambitious objectives;
• Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability;
• Translate strategic priorities into concrete action plans tailored to market realities;
• Ensure rigorous monitoring of results, performance indicators, and business priorities;
• Support the team in achieving high standards of client experience, business development, and sound risk management;

• Promote collaboration with internal partners, including Private Banking 1859;
• Represent the Bank with professionalism and credibility;
• Stay informed of economic and industry trends;
• Optimize processes, tools, and management practices to improve efficiency and the quality of client interactions;
• Foster a positive, people-focused, and engaging work environment where performance and teamwork go hand in hand every day.

Your Team

Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Banking and Private Banking 1859 , you will act as the leader for the Montérégie region, specifically for our Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Saint-Hyacinthe offices. The team is composed of approximately twenty professionals, including Account Managers and Senior Account Managers, as well as Financing Solutions Managers and Directors.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience;
• Significant experience working with commercial clients;
• Strong people management experience;
• Experience with complex financing structures and risk analysis;
• Experience in sales coaching;
• Negotiation experience;
• Knowledge of the Private Banking 1859 sector or business line, an asset;
• Ability to maximize the use of sales management tools (dashboards, reporting tools, etc.).
