We are currently looking to add a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to work at our Gormley location. This position will work closely with the Plant Manager and is primarily responsible for performing maintenance activities to maintain all primary support production equipment to produce quality products.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities to maintain all primary and support production equipment.

• Support all predictive and preventive maintenance programs

• Troubleshoot conveyor belts, packaging machines, labelers, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves, cylinders, conveyance systems, gear boxes and pump.

• Perform specific tasks such as planning machine installations and alignments, fabricating machinery from constituent parts, etc.

• Working with machine tools (lathes & milling machines), fabrication tools such as welders, breaks, presses, power threaders and punches, and pneumatic & hydraulic fields is required.

• Must be able to install and setup parts using vendors manual (sensors, motors, speed controls etc.)

Qualifications

• 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License is an asset

• Minimum 3 Years' experience in a Manufacturing environment

• Has experience in safely operating shop equipment (lathe, mill saw, milling machine etc.)

• Welding certificate and or experience is an asset

• Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds

• Ability to work on-site during all weather conditions and scheduled overtime as required
