Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

• Doctorate in Psychology from a CPA or APA accredited clinical psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology Program;
• Registered, or eligible for registration, with the College of Psychologists of Ontario;
• Completion of a CPA or APA accredited internship;
• Declared area of competency in Neuropsychology and clinical or rehabilitation psychology;
• Five (5) years experience in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation;
• Training or experience in program evaluation, program development and/or clinical research;
• Demonstrated leadership skills within an interdisciplinary team;
• Superior written, verbal and presentation skills;
• Superior interpersonal skills;
• Superior problem solving and judgment skills;
• Demonstrated ability to supervise/lead/coach/mentor;
• Experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications;
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in behavioural rehabilitation;
• Experience in acquired brain injury or community based rehabilitation;
• Demonstrated ability to design, conduct and coordinate clinical research preferably including a publication and grant application record;
• Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).

The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills.
