Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Leader
NOVELIS
Become the Senior EHS Leader at Novelis in Kingston, Ontario, shaping a culture of safety and compliance. Engage actively with teams while developing essential safety programs.
The EHS Leader is critical in spearheading the environmental health and safety policies and programs at Novelis. Your role will involve direct engagement on the shop floor, promoting safety awareness among all employees. You will assess EHS compliance, develop training programs, and liaise with various departments to create a unified safety strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct site EHS performance and strategic initiatives
• Lead EHS compliance with regulations and internal standards
• Engage daily with employees to gather safety feedback
• Mentor plant partners in safety practices
• Drive continuous improvement in safety culture
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or similar
• Significant EHS leadership experience in industrial settings
• Proficiency in safety regulations and audits
• Proven record of effective safety program implementation
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills
