Elevate employee engagement and culture as a Senior People & Culture Specialist at Ferroglobe in Bécancour, QC. This full-time position requires expertise in HR compliance, operational support, and fostering a high-performance environment. As a critical member of the People & Culture team, the Senior Specialist will work closely with plant leadership to ensure smooth HR operations and compliance with Québec labour laws. You will drive initiatives that support organizational performance and enhance employee experiences in both hourly and salaried teams. This role also entails a hands-on approach to managing employee relations and performance management processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Support deployment of the People & Culture roadmap at the plant level
- Ensure daily P&C operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Promote user adoption of HRIS systems and tools
- Act as an advisor on employee relations and performance
- Monitor compliance with labour laws and internal policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5+ years of P&C experience in manufacturing environments
- Solid knowledge of Quebec labour laws and compliance
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, industrial setting
