Lab Specimen Collection Technician

Elevate patient care as a Lab Specimen Collection Technician at LifeLabs. This critical position focuses on ensuring proper specimen collection and patient communication to enhance health outcomes. LifeLabs is looking for a diligent individual to manage the specimen collection process efficiently. Key responsibilities include performing phlebotomy and handling ECGs, while providing outstanding service and maintaining confidentiality. This role requires flexible availability to support patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and validate necessary information
- Execute phlebotomy procedures and ECG tracings
- Carry out specialized test collections and manage documentation
- Foster strong patient relationships and resolve inquiries
- Prepare and transport specimens for lab testing
- Approved Laboratory Assistant program graduate preferred
- Phlebotomy experience is beneficial
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Good typing skills, minimum 40 wpm
- Capacity to maintain strict patient confidentiality
