Nursing Educator for Oncology Unit
St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto
Become a leader in nursing education at Unity Health Toronto as a Clinical Educator in the Oncology unit. This role emphasizes education, collaboration, and quality initiatives to improve patient care delivery. You will mentor nursing staff and implement educational strategies that are evidence-based and tailored to meet specific needs within the unit. By working collaboratively within interprofessional teams, you will contribute to the advancement of nursing practices and overall patient outcomes while fostering a culture of lifelong learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement educational programs aligned with best practices
- Collaborate with a team to enhance quality improvement
- Assess and address staff training needs effectively
- Provide assessments and feedback on nursing practices
- Engage in innovative educational projects
- Registered in Ontario with a Master’s degree in relevant field
- 3-5 years of clinical oncology experience
- Certification in oncology nursing preferred
- Proven experience in educational program development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
