The Opportunity

This is a sales-focused, commission-based role for someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, generating new business, and helping clients find the right insurance solutions.

You will develop new business through prospecting and networking while working with clients to understand their needs and provide customized insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building .
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Understand client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Quote and sell Personal and/or Commercial Lines insurance.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and existing clients.
• Develop referral and networking opportunities to grow your book of business.
• Work with insurance markets and the brokerage team to find suitable coverage solutions.
• Maintain accurate client records and follow regulatory and brokerage requirements.

What We're Looking For

• RIBO licensed OR actively working toward obtaining a RIBO licence.
• Strong interest and understanding of the insurance industry.
• Excellent insurance acumen and the ability to understand and analyze complex insurance situations and client needs .
• Strong sales, prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Confident, professional, and persuasive communication style.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented.
• Ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly to clients.
• Previous Personal or Commercial Lines insurance experience is an asset.
• Existing client relationships or a strong professional network is an asset.

Compensation

100% Commission-Based

This is a commission-only position with no base salary.
