Our working environment

We're looking for the ideal candidate who thrives in a team environment and enjoys working outdoors.

This position involves frequent travel and working on the road. Additionally, the role starts very early in the morning, with fieldwork beginning at 5:30 a.m.

Key responsibilities

The selected person must have experience in manual work requiring physical effort.

• Responsible for keeping the service truck up to date with the equipment and parts needed to complete the work.
• Assist the regional operations manager in coordinating and managing service calls across the organization.
• Transport team members from their residence to the field at the start of the day and from the field to their residence at the end of the day.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on carts, ladders, and material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and work orders by utilizing the provided smartphone for update.
• Review the day's work with store managers.
• Execute the weekly schedule according to the climatic conditions and the performance of the maintenance team.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of warehouse work, including inventory management and storage practices.
• Basic welding training provided by the company.
• Good organizational skills to manage a large volume of repetitive work.
• Quick learning skills to adapt to new tasks and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in maintenance, laborer, assembly, delivery, helper, or landscaping roles.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Canada
• Undergo a criminal record check as part of the hiring process
• Possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is necessary
• Minimum age requirement of 21 years for insurance purposes

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
