As a Registered Nurse leader, you aspire to make a difference in your profession. You possess the leadership skills to fulfill the CRNSs mandate to protect the public through implementing relational and right touch regulation principles in all aspects of the profession. Your open, engaging and decisive communication style with registrants, employers, external stakeholders and the public demonstrates your professionalism, accountability and responsibility to the practice and education of nursing. And as a Director with the CRNS, you possess strong critical thinking and communication skills to successfully lead projects and provide confidential advice, information and resources to individuals and groups regarding professional practice issues. The Director is responsible for overall operations of the Professional Conduct department including departmental financial management, support for Council, statutory and operational committees. This position is a member of the Leadership Team and provides coverage for the Executive Director & Registrar as needed. Education/Experience:Current licensure with the CRNS or eligibility to obtain a licence with the CRNS.
Masters degree in Nursing or related field.
10+ years of experience including at least two years in a leadership position.
