Location: Brampton
Duration: 1 year
Security Clearances: Eligible for Reliability Status & Controlled Goods Program
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software product or quality assurance.
- Experience with Agile development (continuous integration/build automation).
- Strong knowledge of C/C++.
- Previous experience with MIL / NASA/ ESA Software and SW Product Assurance standards.
- Experience with verification and validation.
- Experience with product assurance of firmware/VHDL.
- Experience with software safety analysis and development and/or test of safety critical, real-time software solutions.
- Experience with automated testing/scripts.
- Experience providing technical direction and surveillance to ensure that the quality of the software and its development process adhere to program requirements and standards.
- Experience reviewing system-level designs and perform software architecture, requirements, and coding verification activities.
- Experience reviewing multiple stages of safety critical, real-time software design, development and test.
- Experience monitoring programs to ensure adherence to company and program standards.
- Experience chairing reviews of software Non-conformances and ensuring implementation of effective corrective action.
- Experience performing software re-use and safety analyses as required.
- Experience ensuring incorporation of software reliability, fault tolerance & maintainability features.
