As Canada’s largest Indigenous-owned software testing company, PLATO is seeking a Streaming Data Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience. The role involves designing and maintaining streaming data pipelines across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, ensuring high data quality and compliance. Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to address specific data needs and insights. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable streaming data pipelines
- Implement robust data ingestion processes from multiple sources
- Collaborate with data scientists to define requirements
- Monitor performance of streaming data solutions
- Document processes to facilitate knowledge sharing
- Minimum 5 years in data engineering focused on streaming
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with Apache Kafka or similar platforms
- Understanding of ETL processes and data modeling
- Enhanced security clearance is required
