Senior Millwright (Bakery Automation)
Location: Central Mississauga – Easy commute via 403 / QEW
Direct Floor Management: Report directly to a long-tenured, highly patient General Manager with 20+ years of bakery expertise. Skip corporate red tape. Executive Backing: The role is funded and created by the COO/VP with a clear, fast mandate to groom you into a formal Maintenance Supervisor title as the site scales. Brand-New German Tech: Lead the installation and commissioning of an incoming, multi-million dollar high-speed automated production line. Responsibilities
Install & Commission: Lead new equipment layouts, machinery assembly, and precision alignment for automated processing and packaging lines.
Troubleshoot & Repair: Rapidly diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns under production pressures.
Ticket: Valid Ontario 433A / 443A Millwright License preferred (Mechanical Engineering degrees with strong hands-on automation experience actively considered). Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance inside a high-volume food, beverage, or commercial bakery facility (mandatory). Asset Mastery: Proven troubleshooting history with automated mixers, industrial tunnel ovens, spiral coolers, high-speed flow wrappers, automated baggers, and pumps. Compliance: Strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols Summary
