We provide cutting-edge products and engineering services that ensure warehouses operate efficiently and safely. We are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join us as a Field Sales (Outside Sales) Representative.
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve sales territory targets by servicing the current customer base and by recruiting new customers and business partners in the warehouse rack safety industry.
You will work independently in the field, identifying business opportunities, developing partnerships, and promoting the importance of warehouse rack safety solutions to site managers, H&S managers, maintenance and operations managers and directors.
Conduct on-site surveys to assess warehouse rack safety requirements.
Identify and target new customers and potential business partners within the warehouse and logistics sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers.
Promote and educate customers about the benefits of our safety products and services.
Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s market presence.
Attend networking events, trade shows, and other industry-related activities to generate leads and establish new partnerships.
Provide timely reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
Requirements
Experience in outside sales into warehouses or industrial sites.
Experience selling technical products.
Experience managing the full sales cycle for new-logo acquisition.
Knowledge of or experience in the warehouse or material handling industry, including the warehouse safety or industrial equipment sector, is desirable.
Experience selling to site managers, health and safety managers, maintenance managers, operations managers, or directors is a plus.
Able to travel locally within the assigned region for mostly day trips, with travel concentrated between Monday afternoon and Friday.
Ideally 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Strong proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
