AVP Claims Leadership at Sovereign Insurance

Sovereign Insurance

Lead the claims function at Sovereign Insurance as the AVP for Mid-Market and Specialty. Drive exceptional claims execution and enhance efficiency while working in a hybrid environment. Sovereign Insurance seeks an AVP of Claims to oversee national delivery for mid-market and specialty portfolios. This senior leadership role involves managing complex claims, guiding teams, and ensuring high-quality service standards across all claims operations. Collaborating closely with teams, you will foster innovation and improve the claim experience through analytics and AI tools. Key Responsibilities:

Lead complex claims and uphold handling standards
Chair the Large Loss Committee with precision
Ensure quality service across regional claims delivery
Utilize analytics to manage costs and improve performance
Build strong relationships with insureds, brokers, and partners

Requirements:

MBA or related degree preferred
10-15 years of specialty claims experience
Proven people leadership for 7-10 years
Expertise in automotive, liability, and property claims
Strong understanding of Canadian insurance markets
