As VP, Global Solutions Engineering, you will lead the presales function that powers Prophix's growth across every market we operate in. You will build and develop a unified, high-performing team of Solutions Engineers who consistently demonstrate the value of Prophix One to finance leaders worldwide — accelerating pipeline, shaping deals, and influencing how buyers experience our platform. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Customer Success, making it central to how Prophix wins and scales globally.

What You Will Do

· Lead and develop a global team of Solutions Engineers, setting clear performance standards, coaching talent at every level, and building a culture rooted in technical excellence and genuine customer focus

· Partner closely with Sales leadership to align Solutions Engineering capacity and strategy to pipeline goals, territory plans, and revenue targets across all regions

· Own the end-to-end presales process — from discovery through proof-of-concept — ensuring every engagement communicates compelling, differentiated value to multi-stakeholder buying teams

· Design and continuously improve scalable demo frameworks, discovery methodologies, and enablement resources that equip the SE team to perform consistently and confidently in any market

· Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring field insights shape the product roadmap and go-to-market messaging stays sharp and current

· Deliver regular reporting on presales performance metrics, win/loss trends, and team capacity to senior leadership, using data to identify patterns and drive meaningful improvements

· Lead hiring, onboarding, and development programs that grow the Solutions Engineering function in step with Prophix's expansion into new markets and customer segments

· Analyze competitive positioning and evolving customer needs to continuously refine how the team positions Prophix One across diverse buyer personas, industries, and deal sizes

· Establish Competitive Differentiation: Build and maintain the tools, talk tracks, and proof points that equip SEs to win against key competitors, and serve as an executive escalation point in high-stakes evaluations.

· Tool Optimization: Utilize tools such as Claude and Navattic to scale the reach and effectiveness of the organization.

Requirements

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

· 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Sales Engineering, with at least 3 years in a second-line leadership role managing managers.

· Proven track record leading presales functions in a B2B SaaS environment, with direct exposure to enterprise or mid-market sales cycles

· Hands-on experience designing and delivering product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements that influence complex, multi-stakeholder deals

· Experience managing or coordinating SE teams across multiple regions or time zones, with accountability for presales performance metrics and reporting

· Familiarity with financial planning, ERP, or CPM software categories — or demonstrated ability to develop rapid technical fluency in a finance-adjacent platform

· Comfortable using AI tools responsibly and effectively in day-to-day work

· Adaptable to evolving tools, technologies, and workflows in a fast-moving SaaS environment

· Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success

· Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located

· Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, and data review

· Able to learn new tools and adapt as technology and workflows evolve.

· Curious, open to new approaches, and motivated to continuously improve.

· Collaborative mindset when working across teams and with AI supported tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

· Direct experience with Prophix, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or a comparable CPM/FP&A platform

· Background in finance, accounting, or FP&A — either professionally or through sustained customer-facing exposure — enabling credible, peer-level conversations with CFOs and finance leaders

· Experience building or scaling a Solutions Engineering function from an early or informal stage into a structured, high-performing team

· Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or Challenger and how they shape SE engagement across complex enterprise cycles

· Proficiency with CRM and SE tooling, particularly Salesforce, Gong, and demo automation platforms.
