McFarlane Insurance is a growing, community-focused Desjardins Agency committed to building long-term client relationships and delivering trusted insurance solutions.
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to develop a strong book of business, contribute to the agency’s growth, and build a rewarding career in a stable and respected industry.

The OpportunityThis is a proactive, sales-focused role centered on business development, relationship management, and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and developing new business opportunities through outbound outreach
- Building and maintaining a pipeline through referrals, networking, and community engagement
- Establishing strong relationships with clients and local business partners
- Assessing client needs and presenting tailored insurance solutions
- Consistently managing follow-up and pipeline activity to drive results
- Providing ongoing client support to strengthen relationships and generate future opportunities
- Representing the agency professionally within the community
- Committment to a positive team work environment

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:
Proven Sales Capability or Strong Potential- Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles is preferred
- Alternatively, a strong willingness to learn and develop in a sales-driven environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in initiating conversations and presenting solutions
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and self-discipline
- Comfort working in a performance-based role with measurable goals
- Resilience, adaptability, and a growth-oriented mindset
- OTL or LLQP license preferred
- Willingness to obtain licensing with company support if not already licensed
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients
- Operate within a supportive, collaborative team environment
