Legal Counsel for Healthcare Contracts

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is seeking a Legal Counsel for a 14-month maternity leave position in Mississauga. This role is focused on legal compliance and management of healthcare contracts.
In this position, you will provide essential legal support across various company functions, advising on corporate governance and contract disputes. Your expertise in healthcare regulations will be vital in navigating legal landscapes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also work closely with senior management and HR to mitigate risks associated with employment law and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on employment law and corporate governance
• Negotiate and manage healthcare contracts
• Monitor compliance with Canadian health laws
• Represent the company in various legal matters
• Conduct internal assessments for compliance
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience in Canada
• Background in healthcare law preferred
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
• Valid Canadian legal license
