Electrical Engineer III - Power Systems Specialist

As an Electrical Engineer III, your primary responsibility will be to support the design of Protection & Control systems for high-voltage substations. You will prepare and review design documentation, ensuring all work meets industry standards such as IEEE and NERC. Additionally, you'll mentor junior engineers and facilitate utility coordination for renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design Protection & Control systems for AIS and GIS substations
• Review engineering drawings including DC and communication schematics
• Maintain industry compliance and project schedules
• Develop and set relay protection parameters
• Conduct QA/QC on design packages for high standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering
• 5+ years' experience in substation engineering
• Knowledge of high-voltage design and communication devices
• Proficiency in industry analysis software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
