Corporate Controller With Leadership Duties

Join WINMAR® as the Corporate Controller in London, Ontario, where you will lead financial compliance and reporting under Canadian regulations. This pivotal role is tailored for candidates with strong accounting knowledge and leadership experience.
As the Corporate Controller, you will supervise the accounting functions for BELFOR Franchise Group Canada, conducting financial analysis and overseeing the close processes. Your strong CPA credentials will allow you to mentor the accounting team while refining financial strategies to fuel organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly and yearly financial close processes effectively
• Prepare accurate financial statements complying with ASPE or IFRS
• Lead variance analysis and present findings to executives
• Supervise accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger processes
• Ensure strict compliance with tax regulations and audit requirements
Requirements:
• CPA Canada designation required
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 3–5 years in a financial leadership role
• Deep understanding of Canadian tax laws
• Experience with ERP systems like JD Edwards
