Production Supervisor

• Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence
• Lead by example to hit targets (in order of priority) in safety, quality, service, cost, and production.  When goals are missed, understand why and have suggestions for improvement
• Hold team accountable to following established procedures and conforming to conduct standards
• Be an enabler for team to drive process improvements. Ensure effective employee relations
• Mentor Lead Operators and production team
• Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity and cost to achieve positive results in all areas
• Responsible for the effective training, qualification, proficiency and overall performance management of employees
• Measure team performance
• Conduct leader’s standard work
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow
• Drive continuous improvement
• Resolve production-related issues with an eye for root cause analysis
• Handle routine discipline matters
• Hourly employee Timekeeping responsibilities- this is a significant function: Ceridian Dayforce is a Daily activity, or weekly at a minimum. 
• Perform all other duties as directed by management.
