Job Title
International Sales Manager – Asia & Middle East
Job Duties
- Drive new business development and revenue generation across target markets
- Identify, approach, and close deals with potential clients, partners, and distributors
- Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company growth targets
- Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures
- Represent Somru in client meetings, trade events, and business forums
- Maintain a strong and active sales pipeline with consistent reporting
- Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to leadership
- Development of business cases for capital and R&D investments
- Supports metrics around opportunity generation, forecasted orders, etc.
- Determines price to win for opportunities using customer relationships and industry data
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in international or export markets
- Strong network or working experience in India, Bangladesh, and/or Middle East
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet revenue targets
- Experience in B2B sales, distribution, or service‑based industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
- Ability to speak multiple languages with emphasis on India, Bangladesh, and/or Middle East preferred
- Ability to work independently with little guidance
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive level management and external customers
- 33% international travel required
- Salary Range: hourly $22 - $26
