Nanny Wanted - Part Time Nanny For A Sweet, Curious 4 Year Old - Salmon River, Langley

We’re looking for a warm, trustworthy, and engaging nanny to provide regular part-time help for my daughter, Linen, in our home in Langley’s Salmon River area. Linen is a bright, curious, and imaginative 4-year-old who loves art, stories, outdoor play, and cozy moments at home. She thrives with gentle guidance, creative activities, and a caring, steady presence. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, values both fun and structure, and can create a safe, nurturing environment. Schedule:

• One set weekday evening: school pick-up through bath and bedtime routine (approximately 4:30–8:30 pm)
• Saturday morning: a few hours of engaging care and activities
• Additional occasional hours as needed (with notice)

What You’ll Do:

• Pick Linen up from school and drive her home, one day a week
• Come to our house and play with Linen on Saturday mornings
• Lead fun, age-appropriate activities (crafts, reading, imaginative play, outdoor adventures)
• Prepare simple, healthy snacks or light meals
• Light tidying related to child care (toys, dishes used during your time together)
• Bath and bedtime routine on weekday evening shifts
• Keep Linen’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing as the top priority

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous childcare experience (nannying, daycare, teaching, or similar)
• Warm, patient, and creative with a genuine love for children
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Able to provide references
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for school pick-up
