Make an impact as we look to strengthen our Digital Solutions practice with a Manager to lead our Functional Analysis practice: someone who combines strong client advisory judgment with the ability to develop analysts, raise the quality of functional deliverables and make AI-enabled business analysis a practical, governed part of how our teams work. You will stay close to client work, leading discovery and shaping solutions, while building the methods, standards and talent that make every engagement stronger. You will be the functional lead that clients and delivery teams rely on to turn business objectives into clear, testable and implementable solutions. Across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform engagements, you will guide how requirements are discovered, designed, prioritized and validated, and you will lead the Functional Analysis practice behind that work: coaching analysts, setting standards and improving methods, including the responsible use of AI. This is a functional and practice leadership role, not a project management position. You will work alongside project managers, who own plans and schedules, while you own the quality and coherence of the functional solution and the capability of the people who deliver it.

What you will do:

• Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops; analyze current‑state processes, challenge assumptions and translate business objectives into epics, features and user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria.
• Guide functional solution design across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, including process design, Dataverse data and security considerations, fit‑gap decisions and integration touchpoints, in partnership with solution architects and technical leads.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client leaders: frame trade‑offs between value, risk, scope and feasibility, and help stakeholders reach timely, well‑informed decisions.
• Own backlog quality in Azure DevOps with product owners and delivery leads, ensuring items are well structured, prioritized and ready for build and test, and using backlog insight to surface risks early.
• Lead, mentor and develop functional and business analysts through constructive deliverable reviews, coaching and input into staffing and career growth.
• Establish and continuously improve Functional Analysis practice standards, templates and reusable assets so engagements deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid approaches.
• Strengthen delivery assurance by contributing to solution quality reviews, testing and user acceptance readiness, and adoption planning, applying Microsoft guidance such as Success by Design where relevant.
• Support engagement health and growth through sound scope judgment, early identification of change and risk, and contributions to proposals, estimates and follow‑on opportunities.

We are modernizing functional consulting by pairing professional judgment with generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, automation and agents. As a Manager, you will set the standard for responsible, effective use across the practice, focusing on better delivery outcomes rather than tool adoption for its own sake.

• Use AI to accelerate discovery synthesis, requirements and user story drafting, backlog refinement, test scenario design, documentation and reporting, while analysts remain accountable for accuracy and completeness.
• Build and maintain practice playbooks, reusable prompts and agent‑assisted workflows that fit delivery governance, client policies and security requirements, including in security‑cleared environments.
• Coach the team on context setting, verification and protection of client information; review AI‑assisted deliverables and challenge outputs that are unvalidated or inaccurate.
• Evaluate new AI capabilities pragmatically and measure their impact through improvements in cycle time, clarity, rework and client satisfaction rather than usage volume.

What you bring:

• Significant experience in business analysis, functional consulting or solution delivery, including leading discovery and functional design on complex Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations.
• Proven leadership of business analysts, functional consultants or delivery teams, with a track record of coaching people and raising the quality of their work.
• Advanced capability in requirements management and process analysis, including writing clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
• Experience structuring and refining backlogs in Azure DevOps and adapting to Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Credible client‑facing presence: strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills, sound judgment and the ability to navigate competing priorities.
• Practical experience applying Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, Azure OpenAI or similar tools in delivery, with a clear understanding of their risks and how to validate their outputs.
• Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability or Secret security clearance, and to travel within Canada up to 20% as required.

Additional strengths:

• Experience with public‑sector or similarly regulated clients, particularly in highly governed delivery environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Success by Design, solution assurance or enterprise implementation governance.
• A track record of building practice assets, introducing measurable AI‑enabled delivery improvements or supporting proposals.
• Certifications such as CBAP or CCBA; CSM, PSM or CSPO; or Microsoft AI, Copilot or Azure AI certifications.

• Delivery teams receive clear, testable requirements and build‑ready backlogs, with fewer gaps, misunderstandings and avoidable rework.
• Analysts across the practice grow in capability and confidence, and engagements apply consistent standards and reusable assets.
• AI‑enabled techniques are used responsibly and produce demonstrable gains in speed and quality without compromising client trust.
• Lead and shape a practice, not only a project: your standards, playbooks and coaching will influence how MNP Digital delivers Dynamics 365 and Power Platform work.
• Stay close to meaningful client work on complex initiatives, often in the public sector, where strong functional decisions make a visible difference.
• Help define what AI‑enabled business analysis looks like in a professional services firm, with room to experiment responsibly.

This is a current opportunity with an ideal hiring range of between $120,000 and $150,000 based on experience and skills.
