Account Manager - National Programs

JD Sign Group is a Canadian signage manufacturer delivering large-scale, end-to-end programs for national brands—from design and estimating through fabrication, installation and ongoing rollout support across multi-location networks.

We are looking for an   Account   Manager   to own and grow a portfolio of national customers while developing new business with organizations that fit JD’s capabilities.

The Role

This role combines national- account   management with targeted new-business development.

You will be the primary commercial contact for assigned customers, overseeing opportunities from initial request through quoting, project handoff and closeout. You will work closely with Estimating, Design, Project Delivery, Production and Installation while identifying and pursuing new   account s that align with JD’s national-program capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

1. Own, retain and grow an assigned portfolio of national   account s by understanding each customer’s stakeholders, priorities and upcoming programs.
   
2. Manage commercial opportunities from initial request through scope confirmation, pricing, proposal follow-up and award.
   
3. Identify and pursue net-new business with organizations that fit JD’s national-program capabilities, including targeted outbound prospecting.
   
4. Prepare complete handoffs to Project Delivery covering scope, pricing, timing, risks and customer commitments, while remaining commercially engaged through delivery.
   
5. Maintain accurate and current   account , opportunity and next-action information in the CRM.
   
6. Escalate unusual pricing, contractual, operational or financial risks to leadership.
   

Day-to-day project execution is owned by Project Delivery following handoff, with the   Account   Manager   remaining responsible for the customer relationship and commercial outcome.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Five or more years of B2B   account -management or sales experience preferred; exceptional candidates with at least three years of directly relevant experience will be considered.
  
• Experience managing complex customer relationships and multiple active opportunities.
  
• Demonstrated success developing new business as well as growing existing   account s.
  
• Strong commercial judgment, follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
  
• Confidence communicating with customer decision-makers and internal operational teams.
  
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and detailed project requirements, or the aptitude to learn.
  
• Experience using CRM and project-management systems.
  
• Ability to work primarily from our Cambridge office.
  

Experience in signage, architectural products, construction supply, building materials, custom manufacturing, printing, fixtures, displays or another project-based industry is preferred.

Benefits

Compensation

Placement within the $75,000–$90,000 range will reflect relevant experience and demonstrated results. Offers near the top of the range will be reserved for candidates with proven national- account   ownership, successful net-new business development and directly relevant signage or project-based manufacturing experience.

The role is also eligible for an annual incentive of up to $8,000, weighted across:

• 50%: Retention of designated key   account s
  
• 30%: Net-new business-development results
  
• 20%: Growth in spend across assigned   account s
  

Performance is tracked quarterly against defined targets, with the incentive paid annually following year-end review.
