We are a family in Hamilton, Ontario. We are looking for someone who is experienced and reliable. We have two kids — our daughter is 2 and our son is 4. They’re both good sleepers and would generally be sleeping until around 6:30–7:00 a.m. Our schedule is a little different than a typical childcare position. If I’m getting off shift, I’d usually be home by around 8:00 a.m. If my husband is getting off shift, he’s usually home around 9:00–9:15, sometimes closer to 9:30 depending on traffic. Hours would be: 5 am- 830 am 6 am - 9/930 am We’re looking to start with around 15-20 hours per month, which works out to roughly 4 days because there are some crossover days where one of us is getting off shift while the other is starting. We’d potentially be open to increasing the hours as we get more comfortable. Our kids are energetic, happy little ones, and we’re hoping to find someone who is comfortable with our somewhat unique schedule. We’ve actually never had anyone watch our kids before, so this is new for us too! We’re really just looking for someone trustworthy who we can build a good relationship with. A current Vulnerable Sector Check CPR certification is required for this position, as the safety of our child is our top priority. We offer a competitive wage of $20-25 per hour.
