Position: Full Time Security Supervisor
Hours: Continental Nights (2100 - 0900)
Pay Rate: $21.86/ hr

Job Description:
- Access control, property patrols, incident reporting, CCTV and fire panel monitoring, emergency response and customer service
- Maintain workflow to ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and assignments are completed accurately and on time, and forwarded to management.
- Ensuring a safe and effective working environment by properly using all equipment and resources, and maintaining compliance with established health and safety policies and procedures.
- Initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
- Supervise and administer on-site guards while performing other assigned duties
- Work closely with staff and take direction from management and the CSM
- Provide ongoing support to staff on security-related issues
- Respond to calls for service and security incidents; perform operational duties as assigned
- Attend required staff meetings
- Train security staff; ensure training checklists are completed and submitted
- Maintain and organize training, application, disciplinary, and license records; provide upon request
Prerequisites:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard license
- Valid Ontario First Aid and CPR Level C from a WSIB-Approved Provider
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent/post-secondary diploma or degree
- Minimum 1 year security supervisor experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
- High level of customer service
- Proficiency with Windows-based software and knowledge of PC-based incident reporting software
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, fire equipment, and fire monitoring systems
- Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws and by-laws
- Position requires the ability to walk/stand/climb stairs for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
