Commercial Credit Administrator

Job Responsibility:

Buduchnist Credit Union, carrying on business as BCU Financial, is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our financial institution. Reporting to the Manger of Commercial Credit, the Commercial Credit Administrator supports the commercial lending department through the preparation of commercial loan documentation. This includes the monitoring and completion of the annual loan review process, liaising with solicitors to ensure proper documentation and closing of commercial transactions, and the completion renewals for loans within assigned limits.

Responsibilities:

Commercial lending administration:

? Develops relationships with members to provide consistent and superior service and responds to member enquiries regarding commercial loan documentation and processes in a timely manner.

? Prepares and maintains documentation for new business accounts and lending transactions.

? Provides support to branches by responding to enquiries with regards to commercial lending processes and forms.

? Liaises with solicitors to collect and provide proper documentation to ensure loan conditions are met.

? Monitors and collects required information for all loans under annual review through correspondence with members and manual tracking processes.

? Reviews and makes recommendations for loan renewals.

? Prepares documentation for loan renewals and maintains the schedule of expired and upcoming credit reviews.

? Analyses financial statements and determines business cash flows for loan documentation preparation.

Other:

? Proactive in suggesting enhancements in job accountabilities and receptive to ongoing improvements and organizational changes.

? Adheres to security procedures as they pertain to the position.

? Actively participates in department and credit union meetings.

? Other duties as assigned.

? Basic understanding of commercial lending products and services.

? Solid computer, Word, and Excel skills.

? Solid communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

? Ability to adhere to policy and industry standards.

? Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues as well as independently. Requirements:

? Post-secondary certificate or diploma.

? 2-4 years of administrative or financial services experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

? Bilingual (Ukrainian/English) written and verbal skills are considered an asset.

? A commitment to learning and development is required.

Compensation:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. BCU Financial also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package.
