What You Will Bring To The Team

Our team is resident focused and believes in a high level of attention to detail, professionalism and discretion. And as healthcare professionals, we also believe in lifelong learning and the ability to work under pressure. We value diverse backgrounds and what that brings to our team and we want to hear more about what makes you unique.

In addition to what makes you unique, there are a few basics that we require for this role:

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with the ability to operate a company-owned vehicle.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and transfer equipment or materials safely.

Your Role In Helping Residents

While we all collaborate to provide care and hospitality to our residents, we all play different roles to make this happen. You'll contribute by:

1. Interacting with residents in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their concerns and ensuring minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
2. Communicate and correspond effectively with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
3. Perform ongoing seasonal outdoor maintenance as required.
4. Work flexible hours and being able to be on-call to respond to after-hours emergencies.
